We met fishing on the Minnesota River and that is where he proposed to me. We love the outdoors and camping so we had a "woodsy" theme, a s'mores bar, and we went someplace FURTHER NORTH for our honeymoon to go snowboarding. Everyone thought we were nuts!
Planning for Our Day
I climbed trees my whole life, so it was easy to go with a woodland theme. We also love the outdoors so it made it great for both of us. His favorite color is red and I like champagne so it made a great combination. We splurged on our decorator and the flowers. Meaningful Moments was AMAZING!! I loved working with her and Hilltop always does an amazing job on flowers.
Hint for Brides
Get as much as you can done early, it will leave you (almost) stress free on your day. Also get someone (like Meaningful Moments!) to do your decorations. I didn't have to do a thing except tell her what I like and what I had dreamed about for my wedding day. She takes care of the rest and she is AMAZING!
